Per OTC labeling, Ocean nasal spray is a saline (sodium chloride) solution for nasal moisturization. The following reflects standard label instructions.

  • Per OTC labeling, gently blow your nose first to clear loose mucus.
  • Shake the bottle lightly and remove the cap.
  • Per OTC labeling, lean your head slightly forward and keep the bottle upright.
  • Per OTC labeling, insert the tip just inside one nostril and aim it slightly outward (toward the ear, not the septum).
